NEW YORK, NEW YORK – 09/11/2019 (PRDistribution.com) — Thought For Food and YUNO by Food to Heal are partnering to expand the reach of world-changing innovations that help solve our food system’s most significant challenges and ensure food and nutrition security by 2050. With the two partners together, they look forward to (1) better finding, cultivating, and amplifying every-day resources and solutions for a more sustainable and inclusive food and agriculture sector, while (2) identifying and cultivating the diamonds in the rough that will create the tools turning the tide of food security and climate change.

“Thought For Food works with game-changing startups from every part of the world, and we couldn’t be happier to partner with YUNO to increase our impact, specifically in New York City. We are a global organization focused on building and investing in regionally and locally-relevant solutions that create more sustainable and inclusive food systems,” states Christine Gould, Founder and CEO at Thought For Food.

TFF will support YUNO’s Launch & The America YUNO Initiative and Auction in a series of events culminating in the TAY auction happening in November. In turn, the facts and advocacy surrounding the launch of Yuno will allow TFF to share the 2019 TFF Challenge and TFF Digital Labs (Launching on October 16th, World Food Day) with a broader community in New York and beyond. With the America YUNO, the goal is to help promote the mental health and performance of the top five industries requiring an ethical guideline as the world becomes more and more interconnected over the next five years.

For the first time in society, we are at the forefront of global connectivity. Social media has allowed us to feel and not to feel all within our fingertips. Our thoughts and news from the scroll of our fingers, and we can go days, weeks, or months without visiting another human. As days turn to night and day – we are shown more and more of the uncertainty lurking around us. Like walking on a seesaw, we fumble our way through our economic and political futures. We have stopped smiling earnestly, we have started sharing for vanity, and the subtle distinction between what’s real for our existence and what’s is vanity goals has clouded through the vastness of our world. “The America YUNO” Campaign looks to help shine a bright light to the industries requiring the most transparency to accomplish the future we deserve, the industries are

  1. finance + tech,
  2. politics + education,
  3. entertainment + community,
  4. agriculture + food,
  5. research + sustainability.

“By partnering with Thought For Food, at the forefront of sustainability and food development, we look forward to bringing the best solutions for sustainable and nutritious products and systems from our local communities promoting caring capitalism, while helping individuals achieving and supporting this goal perform!” state Shenkeri “Nika” Chandramohan and Bryan Kay, Co-Founders of YUNO by Food to Heal.

With impactful partners such as Thought For Food, Yuno can bring to life “The America YUNO” annual campaign by collecting and designing five major exhibits for each of these industries displaying the stories, strategies, and faces of 100 notable individuals right here in NYC. However, taking it a step further for real action, Yuno and partners through the campaign are auctioning off these exhibits after the events to provide practical support toward five organizations supporting each specific industry alongside the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

In a world where connectivity is abundant and seamless, a partnership that bridges together the need to care and take action along with valuing and appreciating the time and emotional investment of individuals from all walks of life whether finance, non-profit, science or food.

“Individuals building upon a human-centric mission much like TFF’s mission to build more inclusive and sustainable food systems and YUNO’s mission to help add “+mind” to New Yorker’s and beyond’s daily lifestyle create rare companies that have a fantastic product and a noble mission. This is the kind of caring capitalism the world needs right now.” states Darron Wong, the Founder & CEO of the Raindrop Cake and an advisor of YUNO.

Playing an important significance, to raise awareness about the interconnectedness between multiple areas like food, mental health, politics, media, and to drive impactful solutions going forward. In addition, the work of Yuno and TFF collectively addresses and works towards several UN Sustainable Development Goals such as

  • Goal 2: Zero Hunger,
  • Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being,
  • Goal 4: Quality Education,
  • Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth,
  • Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure,
  • Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, and
  • Goal 13: Climate Action.
