TEASER ALERT: Announcing Initial Details of TFF’s 2019/2020 Program
At Thought For Food we are exclusively focused on building a food system that is carbon positive, resource regenerating and economically inclusive. A food system that not only feeds, but nourishes the global population in a delicious way.
Our program facilitates this via the discovery and empowerment of visionary talents from every region; supporting the launch and funding of next-gen start-ups; and by connecting young people to life-changing opportunities.
This year, we are expanding our program, partners and perks so that more young leaders everywhere can develop the mindsets, skills and connections they need to create essential, lasting impact within the food and agriculture industry.
Below is a snapshot of what we have in store!
On October 16, 2019 – World Food Day – we will launch our annual Thought For Food Challenge. Considered the world’s leading ‘Collaborative Competition’ in food and agriculture, this year we have a very special challenge partner. Stay tuned for the big announcement!
For the first time, teams can choose to take part in one of two levels:
Level 1: Our free-of -charge, pre-accelerator program that is designed and built for people who want to develop an idea that tackles a major food and ag challenge, and turn it into a successful business.
Level 2: Our newly-designed premium program for pre-seed startups looking to turbocharge the TFF way.
In addition, all TFF Challenge participants will unlock access to our new content and collaboration platform – TFF Digital Labs. This is a truly unique next-gen learning experience optimized for passionate, out of the box thinkers and doers from science, design, tech, sustainability and more who definitely aren’t interested in doing business as usual.
Through our Digital Labs, we provide an on-demand hub of multidisciplinary expertise supported by some of the world’s best mentors and coaches. In true TFF spirit, this virtual program is injected with the inspiration, collaborative spirit, creativity and the energy that we are known for. The entire TFF Challenge experience is designed to be engaging, interactive, practical – and a whole lot of fun.
In late January 2020, a selection of finalist teams from both levels of the TFF Challenge will win the chance to attend and pitch for cash prizes and investments at our TFF Academy and TFF Summit. Location to be disclosed very soon.
